The Permanent Platform

 US neighbrohoods are burdened by fine particles of air pollution emitted by cars, factories, wildfires and dusty agricultural activities, known to researchers as PM2.5...and it is killing us.  We can - we must - do better.   Right now. 

 Multiple investigations into US drinking water have found widespread contamination with PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances also known as ‘forever chemicals’), lead, and arsenic, exceeding so-called "safe levels."  A real nation has to provide clean water to its citizens.  Permanently.  This is non-negotiable. 

 Because our food systems in the US don't begin with our safety and longevity in mind,  our American food system contains thousands of chemicals that have not been proven safe and many that are banned in other countries.  A serious nation delivers outstanding food of the absolute highest quality to everyone.  Period. 

  A nation that matters houses it citizens in homes and apartments that are safe and that deliver well-being.   Housing is a human right, recognized around the globe, but here in the US, tenants know that “the rent is too damn high,” and the growing encampments we see on our streets are a result of that.
